Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh pemilihan sudut bending<br>pada pipa untuk menahan pipa. Pengekangan beban yang besar pada penahan pipa sering terjadi pada area Pig Louncher yang dihasilkan dari pemilihan bending pipe. Analisa beban penahan dilakukan untuk memastikan pemilihan pembengkokan pipa tidak menimbulkan beban yang besar untuk mengurangi kegagalan sistem dalam kondisi operasi. Tekanan desain kerja adalah 680 psi dengan suhu desain 130 F.<br>Analisa sistem beban penahan pipa menggunakan software CAESAR II untuk melihat bending yang paling efektif perbandingan sudut yang akan digunakan. Hasil analisa menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pemilihan pipa yang lentur pada area peluncur babi sangat mempengaruhi nilai penahan beban yang terjadi. Pemilihan pembengkokan dengan menggunakan sudut pembengkokan yang bervariasi pada sistem perpipaan dapat mengurangi beban tertahan tersebut terjadi.
